Beware of the numerous scams circulating either via phone or email often
from Asia or Africa and within the UK. The content of the conversation
is usually very plausible with some details sounding correct and
personal to the recipient but often a further request for personal
banking details are required and a fee. The caller often states an order
has been placed eg for unwanted phone calls or for advertising. As
always please be advised NOT to pass any bank details over the phone or
computer.
