There have been additional thefts from unattended vehicles in recent days:
A Volvo & a VW Polo parked on West Lane, Sutton-in-Craven was broken into. Keys and money were stolen from within. CCTV showed 2 males in tracksuits approached the vehicles at about 01:20hrs on Tuesday 19th March. They appeared to use some kind of tool/implement which opened the locked vehicles without causing any damage.
A Peugeot van parked at the Travel Lodge on Gargrave Road was broken into over night Wednesday 20th - Thursday 21st March. The passenger side front window was smashed to gain entry, and a jacket was stolen from within.
Two works vans parked on Water Street, Skipton was broken into on the morning of Thursday, 21st March. The back door locks were drilled to gain entry. Several thousand pounds worth of Milwaukee & DeWalt power tools were stolen from within.
