What is ghost broking?
Ghost brokers can be
individuals or groups that are unlicensed, who pose as middlemen for
insurance companies and claim to be able to find cheap car insurance prices
for those struggling to get affordable cover.
It is
also the term used when innocent people's details are used to obtain
cheaper car insurance and victims receive letters concerning insurance for
cars they have never owned
This is
a scam we see regularly in North Yorkshire and worth
bringing to your attention
