POLICE are hunting a man who was spotted hurling large
stones into a main road.
The man was seen throwing the top stones onto the A6068 at
Glusburn, near the former Malsis School,
at around 6.30pm on Sunday.He was later witnessed doing the same thing in Cowling.
A green Mini Cooper crashed into one of the stones.North Yorkshire Police are appealing for anyone who may have
seen the man, who was believed to have an arm in a sling, or has any
information to come forward.
A spokesman said: "This man was causing a danger to
road users on the A6068."We are requesting the public's assistance to help
establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident."Anyone able to help should call 101, select option two and
