North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about an attempted house burglary that occurred on Hopps's Road, Glusburn.
It happened at around 9.30am on Wednesday 1 March 2017 and resulted in damage being caused to a rear UPVC door lock. Luckily no entry was gained.
Police are conducting enquiries and are requesting the public’s assistance to help determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
In particular, officers are appealing for information about a possible suspect seen in the area at the time.
He is a white man aged around 25 to 30, 5’6″-5’7″, medium build and with short dark brown hair and dark brown eyes. He was wearing blue jeans.
