th Sept- Burglary Dwelling Langcliffe house hold items taken occurred over 3 to 4 day period

th Sept- Reported theft of Rocky Mountain bike from garage at Long Preston

th Sept- Garage entered and golf clubs stolen at Carleton
10th Sept- Garage entered and Merida road cycle stolen Farnhill
14th Sept- Attempt theft from garage Settle offenders believed disturbed 3.45am
14th Sept-Shed entered Carleton and Strimmer stolen
14th Sept- Shed entered Carleton and Rockhopper bike stolen
15th Sept-Sheep Theft 25 x texel cross stolen from field Westhouse Ingleton
16th Sept- Car keyed down the side Settle
17th Sept- Burglary Dwelling Draughton electrical items and cash taken
18th Sept- Shed entered 4 bikes taken sometime within week period Carleton
20th Sept- Burglary overnight commercial premises Ingleton and safe taken
20th Sept- Burglary Dwelling overnight Glusburn TV and electrical items taken
22nd Sept- Garage entered and Specialized road bike taken Cononley
27th Sept- Quad Bike stolen from farm at Cowling
27th Sept- Shed entered at Cowling and Cervelo road bike stolen
29th Sept- Barn entered Starbottom believed nothing stolen at this stage
30th Sept- Landrover (02 plate) Stolen from Gargrave without keys at 1.55am
You may suspect some of these crimes are linked as they are similar crimes on the same dates, and this
is a clear indication criminals are travelling extensively within Craven to commit these offences. There are
again dwelling houses attacked this month but the numbers have fallen.
You will note a large number of cycles have been taken from Sheds and Garages, please try and secure
these better to deter thefts.
Again this month many of our crimes are to insecure premises or have happened when property has
been left unattended.
