Man named as police appeal for witnesses after fatal cycle collision in Craven

Police are appealing for the public's help to trace a cyclist's movements after a fatal road traffic collision in Craven.
Incident - Cycle
It occurred some time between 7pm on Wednesday 13 August and 10:30am on Thursday 14 August 2014, at Dibble Bridge, Hebden.
The collision involved a white racing bike ridden by a 32-year-old man from Skipton. At the time of the incident he was heading from Greenhow towards Grassington. He was wearing black cycle shorts and a black cycling top with a with band around the upper body.
The man riding the bike was sadly declared dead at the scene by paramedics.
He has been named as James Phillip Nelson, who was aged 32 and from Skipton.
Traffic Constable Steve Beckwith, of the Force's Roads Policing Group, said: "If you saw a cyclist matching Mr Nelson's description in the Skipton area, I urge you to contact the police as I need to understand his route in the time which led up to this tragic incident."
