Witness appeal following Skipton collision

  Skipton police are appealing for witnesses after a silver or grey Vauxhall Vectra saloon collided with a wall and some road works in the town on the evening of Wednesday 12 March 2014.

Collision
The vehicle, which refused to stop for a police patrol car on Keighley Road, went on to collided with a wall before continuing onto the A629 towards Cononley Lane Ends where it was involved in a second collision at some road works. 
Officers are keen to trace anyone who was in the area at the time who may have seen the vehicle leaving Skipton at about 7.58pm on Wednesday night. They would also like to hear from anyone who saw the vehicle travelling and anyone who witnessed either of the two collisions.

Both occupants of the vehicle were uninjured and were arrested at the scene. They are  two men aged 23 and 37 from Nelson in Lancashire. They have today (13 March 2014) been released on police bail to allow for further police enquiries.
