Police seek Audi A3 occupants as investigation into Skipton collision continues.

Police investigating a collision in Skipton in which a car collided with a wall and some road works have appealed for the occupants of a white Audi A3 to come forward.

Officers have also thanked members of the public who have come forward following their appeal for information about the incident which happened on the night of Wednesday 12 March 2014.
They have now issued a specific appeal to trace the occupants of the white Audi as they could have vital information which could assist their investigation.
To recap, the collisions occurred just before 8pm when a silver or grey Vauxhall Vectra refused to stop for a police patrol car on Keighley Road. It then went on to collide with a wall before continuing onto the A629 towards Cononley Lane Ends where it was involved in a second collision at some road works. 
If you were in the area at the time and were driving or were a passenger in a white Audi A3, please call North Yorkshire Police as soon as possible.

Both occupants of the Vauxhall Vectra were uninjured and were arrested at the scene. They are  two men aged 23 and 37 from Nelson in Lancashire. They have today (13 March 2014) been released on police bail to allow for further police enquiries.
