North Yorkshire Police are warning owners of 4x4 vehicles especially Land Rover Defenders after recent thefts of two of these vehicles in the Hamleton & Richmondshire Area. Ensure you do not leave your vehicle keys easily accessible to a thief. Fit an immobiliser/alarm and/or Tracker system, use physical security such as steering wheel locks and clamps and use your garage if you have one.
